Wi-Fi for Wireless
Internet Access
We have
installed a wireless hotspot (Wi-Fi) at
‘A LITTLE PARADISE’. The hotspot covers
the entire property so guests have
access anywhere including the rooms,
conference area, dining area and even
the gardens and pool area, should they
wish.
Guests can connect to the system through
any standard Wi-Fi enabled device
including notebooks, PDA’s and cell
phones. |

Connection Procedure

Step 1 -
Purchase a voucher from reception
Three voucher values are available:
R100.00 (90 Mb)
R 60.00 (45Mb)
R 40.00 (25Mb)
Your voucher is valid for 1 year so you can
come back to us and use it again until
depleted. |

Step 2- Connect to the Network
Ensure "obtain IP address
automatically" is enabled under
wireless networking properties.
Enable (turn on) wireless
networking.
Select "View all available
networks".
Select and connect to the A LITTLE
PARADISE network (Windows will
acquire a network address and
connect automatically).
Windows may indicate that you are
connected with limited or no access
or that the network is unsecured.
Once your username and password has
been verified, the network will be
secure to you. |

Step 3 - Connect to The Internet
Open your Internet Browser (you will
be presented with the A LITTLE
PARADISE logon page).
If prompted to allow pop-ups on this
site, click "yes" (this enables you
to see bandwidth both used and still
available).
Type in the user name and password
as it appears on your voucher (case
sensitive).
Click on the "OK" button.
You will be re-routed to your
default home page. |

Step 4
You can now download your e-mail &
surf the Net via your favorite
applications.
